Forgive Us Our Trespasses, As We Forgive Those....

LUKE 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

When referring to the subject of our hearts being right before Our Heavenly Father, we need to consider that the way we treat others weighs heavily in the scheme of things.  Do unto others as.....    When you have done it unto the least of these, you have done it unto me.......says the Lord Jesus.   Many references in the Old and New Testament show that our earthly relationships directly affect our relationship with Our Father in Heaven.

We are told if we want to receive forgiveness, we must first grant forgiveness. There is a law of reciprocity in the Kingdom of God which states you shall reap what you sow... (Gal. 6:7-8). What we put out there and what we do to others really does come back to us. With this in mind we need to be careful how we treat those around us.

Keep Going Forward

Luke 9:62 Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

The Kingdom of God is constantly moving forward.  Many times we as believers allow the situations and circumstances of life to pull our focus away from the plans of God.  When this happens, the momentum of the Kingdom slows down and for some even comes to a screeching halt.     Many times we let our past dictate our future.  As a result our attention and focus take a detour from the path that the Lord has laid out for us.  We in turn follow our minds and hearts only to end up going in the wrong direction or no direction in the things of the "Kingdom of God".     Let me give you an example.  When you are driving a car normally you look in the direction that you are driving to avoid a wreck or any other bad situation.  If you constantly keep focused on what is in your rearview mirror, you won't notice what is in front of you or what is"in your future".
If you drive forward while still looking behind you, you could miss an opportunity or even have a wreck.    Don't stay focused on what is behind you.  What God has in front of you is more important, and He has already told you to forget the past.  Keep going forward.  Look unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith.  Pray for things in your future to position you for success.  Ask God for discernment to recognize the direction of the Lord.   Obey swiftly as the Holy Spirit instructs you.  If you will follow God's ways, you can't fail.

The Power Of Your Words

Proverbs 18:21 The tongue can bring life or death, those that love to talk shall reap the consequences. (TLB)
We need to realize that our words not only affect the success or the failure of our own lives, but they also affect the productivity and development in the lives of others. We can speak Life or Death,  Health or Sickness, Success or Failure. We need to choose to agree with what God and His Word declare about us.   Agreeing with Heaven will bring Heaven's results to the Earth.  Your Kingdom Come, Your Will Be Done Jesus.  When our prayers are asking for one thing, and our confession opposite of what we are asking for in prayer, How can we expect to receive anything from the Lord? (James 1:7-8).  When we are double-minded we are declared to be unstable in all our ways.  We need to stay focused on the Word of the Lord and learn to obey swiftly.  Allow your confession and your prayers to line up with the Word of God.  It will create a confidence and an expectation in God that will bring great results in prayer.
