Jesus told us to pray for God to deliver us from evil. Like a good shepherd, the Father in Heaven is beating away the wolves in our lives. The people and the spiritual forces that come against us, can be overcome by the Word of the Lord in our lives. God is a victorious warrior who fights our battles for us. He is our deliverer, who delivers us spirituallly, mentally, and even at times our bodies get delivered from various ailments. Psalm 91 declares that God hides us in the shadow of His wings and gives His angels charge over us, lest we stub our toe. The Lord wants to protect us so much, that He will keep us from stubbing our toes if we will listen to His direction in our lives. Pray for His protection around you and your loved ones. He covers us, He loves us, and He is always standing between us and our enemies. Trust Him with everything you are facing today, He will carry you through it.
